Instrument Reliability Specialist

Opportunity with Chemical leader as the Reliability/ Instrumentation Specialist with focus on field instrumentation, valves, analytical process instruments, control system hardware and asset diagnostics. Also presenting the opportunity for growth in functional safety, regulatory compliance, and process control.

Responsibilities

Work closely with Mechanical Integrity for site instrumentation, compliance and reliability.

Maintain and develop site Mechanical Integrity procedures for Instrumentation.

Maintain and develop site Key performance indicators. Participate in reviews and audits for unit shutdowns, outages and normal operations.

Promote the sites Mechanical Integrity through customer service, teamwork, employee innovation, personal and site accountability.

Work with capital projects managing site requirements for successful project implementation of all aspects of PSM and Mechanical Integrity

Participate in the (MOC) work process supporting Mechanical Integrity and Process Safety Management (PSM) best practices Participate in PSM/RMP Compliance audits

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher OR five (5) years or more in instrumentation and controls experience in a refinery or chemical process plant

Functional safety experience including a working knowledge of LOPA, C&E's, SRS, and SIL ratings

Instrumentation and Controls design and reliability experience

TV Functional safety certification

Supervisory experience within a chemical, refining or petrochemical operation
