JOB SUMMARY: Assists in managing daily operations of the department. Provides physical therapy treatments to patients from all age groups as developed by the Physical Therapist.Contributes to the development of the department.Works closely with family members to assure achievement of goals and continuity of care.Provides documentation of patient progress.Supervises and assists with evaluating and training PT techs.Assists in continuous quality improvement.PRE-REQUISITES: Education:Graduate of an APTA accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program.Associate degree minimum. AR licensed or eligible for licensure. Experience:Preferably one year experience as a physical therapist assistant. Other Skills: Desirable characteristics include a proficiency in written and verbal communications, ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the public.
