Position Summary:
The Business Development Manager is responsible for consistently generating and increasing revenues through the acquisition of new and existing clients/business in Canada via B2B contacting and Skype calls. His role is to drive customer acquisition and expansion, focusing on both business development activities as well as account management through managing, directing and working effectively with the recruiting team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Obtain and generate leads and set new meetings with prospective US in the IT field.
• Make cold calls to leads generated from trade shows, networking, strategic accounts, prospective clients, etc.
• Manage entire new business development pipeline from initial sales call through close.
• Build and manage relationships with a target list of direct clients and partners at all levels - "C" level, as well as operational/managerial levels.
• ssist in building a client base of qualified contacts. Maintain performance standards and increase pipeline for future business.
• ssist with the management of client accounts by attending/shadowing meetings, sending correspondence and/or communicating with clients and resolving any issues.
• Consistently meet and exceed weekly and quarterly sales targets.
• Perform inside/outside sales activities to achieve or exceed assigned revenue objectives
• Coordinate with dedicated recruiting team to pursue sales leads, develop search criteria and customer profile.
• Work with marketing team and legal department to develop proposals and participate in bids, RFI s and RFP s.
• Maintain records of all communications in customer relationship management tool.
• Conduct follow-up activities to ensure customer satisfaction and further account expansion.
• Participate in marketing duties such as attending trade shows and conferences.
Qualifications:
• 7+ years of IT Staffing industry experience required.
• Bachelors or Master's degree from University/College preferred.
• Excellent networking and relationship building skills in a B2B environment.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills including effective presentation skills.
• Must be comfortable with cold-calling and engaging people face to face.
• Experience dealing directly with decision makers and comfortable with negotiation
