Job Description SUMMARY

The Crude Terminal Unloader is primarily responsible for the unloading and handling of crude oil in the Norphlet Rail Terminal. The Crude Terminal Unloader assures each of the railcars are safely unloaded and crude oil receiving tanks are accurately gauged and secured per standard conformance guidelines.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Report spills to your manager immediately

* Gauge and record in the data-base all crude oil movements on a daily basis

* Record for each occurrence in the data-base all pumping transfers, unloading of railcars, and loading of trucks.

* Responsible for maintaining tank temperatures, inventories & transferring of product

* Will be required to cover OT for other Crude Terminal Unloaders due to sickness & vacation

* Inspect and prepare all railcars prior to unloading per the SOP

* Retrieve required samples of crude oil for lab analysis per SOP

* Properly load product into trucks per SOP

* Manage tank to tank tranfers or equalizations of tanks.

* Work extended hours when necessary and be able to be called out for emergency work

* Perform other related duties as assigned and maintain good housekeeping within the Norphlet Rail Terminal

Job Requirements EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

High school education or GED. One to three years
