QUALIFICATIONS:
* High School diploma/GED
* Must be 21 years of age
REPORTS TO: Route Supervisors
JOB GOAL: Effectively manage assigned resources by providing central dispatch for school bus operations via mobile radio system.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Operate mobile radio system in accordance with FCC rules and regulation.
* Coordinate emergency response with public safety agencies as needed.
* Serve as liaison between drivers, school staff and supervisors.
* Assist in answering telephones and addressing patron questions concerning school bus routes.
* Transmit safety messages to drivers and aides via the radio system.
* Assist in entering and retrieving data from school bus routing system.
* Perform other duties as assigned
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Salary: $14.01 per hour for approximately 8 hrs. per day (split shift - 4 hrs. a.m. and 4 hrs. p.m.)
Length: Through May 27, 2022
EVALUATION:
Performance of this job will be evaluated according to the provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of Support Staff Personnel.
