The Plant Engineer III is responsible for increasing profitability and competitiveness of LANXESS production processes through optimized technical solutions. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: Day-to-day support and troubleshooting of a PSM regulated chemical facility, solutions may require development of new or improved products, processes, or techniques. Responsible for plant engineering duties within assigned area. Works with independence, conferring with manager on unusual or complex assignments. Responsible for implementing good process safety practices in assigned area. Participates in Process Hazard Analysis sessions Responsible for projects to ensure environmental compliance in assigned area. Direct process engineering activities/projects of the group.
