Data Engineer Master Data Management

Description:

CTG is seeking to fill a Data Engineer – Master Data Management opening for our client in Tallahassee, FL.

Location: Remote

Duration: 3 months

Duties:

  • Design, implement, and maintain Master Data Management (MDM) solutions using Informatica (preferably Informatica SaaS).

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and ensure data quality and governance.

  • Develop and optimize ETL pipelines for managing and integrating master data.

  • Utilize Azure cloud services including Azure Data Factory, Blob Storage, API Management, and Bastion Jump Host.

  • Implement data lineage and cataloging solutions using MS Purview.

  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including data models, mappings, and workflows.

  • Support data governance policies and participate in Agile development sprints.

  • Analyze and resolve data issues, ensuring consistency and accuracy of master data across systems.

  • Utilize Git and Azure DevOps for source control and deployment processes.

Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in Informatica MDM (Informatica SaaS preferred)

  • Advanced SQL and scripting skills (Python, Perl, etc.)

  • Experience in Agile development environments

  • Knowledge of Azure cloud ecosystem including:

  • Azure Data Factory

  • Azure API Management

  • Azure Bastion Jump Host

  • Azure Blob Storage and Tables

  • MS Purview

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly MS Excel

  • Familiarity with Git repositories and Azure DevOps

Experience:

  • 3–5 years of proven experience as an MDM/Informatica Developer or in a similar role

  • Hands-on experience with Master Data Management principles and practices

  • Demonstrated success delivering data solutions in a cloud environment

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $65.00/hour to $75.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
