We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer passionate about learning, experimenting, and building solutions in a fast-paced environment. You will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and cloud infrastructure, leveraging Databricks and PySpark to process large datasets efficiently. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact and drive organizational efficiency.

What Youll Do:

  1. Operationalize our Databricks Lakehouse: Develop and maintain a unified data platform using Azure Databricks to enable efficient data storage, processing, and analysis across the organization.
  2. Build Data Pipelines: Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines; establish API integrations for efficient data transfer. Implement ETL processes, ensuring data integrity and quality.
  3. Deploy Data Technology: Utilize technologies such as Spark, Kafka, and Airflow to manage large-scale data processing. Test, monitor, and troubleshoot systems for smooth operation.
  4. Collaborate: Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and scientists to understand their needs and optimize data workflows.

What Youll Bring:

  1. Development Experience: 5+ years with Python, Scala, Java, or C#. Preference for Python experience.
  2. Data Engineering Tools: 5+ years with Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, Apache Spark, HIVE, Hadoop, Cloudera, or RedShift. PySpark on Databricks preferred.
  3. Data Architecture: Proficiency in high-performance data pipeline design and mastery of pipeline guarantees like Idempotency, Fault Tolerance, and Observability.
  4. Containerization: Experience with Docker, Rancher, or Kubernetes.
  5. Data Orchestration: Experience with Apache Airflow or similar tools.
  6. Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.

Pay Range: $126,100 $193,325 annually. Compensation based on knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
